I have studied the Koran. I have studied the history of Islam since 620 AD. I have watched the videos of Christians being slaughtered in the Congo, Nigeria, Syria. I have watched Iran kill 20,000+ in recent weeks because the people do not want a Caliphate under Sharia Law. So while you have the right to your fantasy about "Islam the religion of peace" . . . the world has awakened. They want to see Political Islam neutralized. They want and are currently implementing De-Islamification in countries throughout the planet. And then there is the historic fact that Muhammed was a pedophile, war monger and a slaver. But conveniently you continue to deny the reality.

I'm not here to fight either, thanks. My point was, the tomb is empty! I went to Israel decades ago and saw the tomb. And even if someone says there are 3 tombs, the truth remains that Jesus is alive. If He were dead, we would be lost in our sins but that's not the case. These are my beliefs.
I'm not sure what you mean by that. I see Jesus as a Jungian archetype of a philosopher similar to Sophia, MLK, John Lennon, Buddha . . . . so, to me, it doesn't matter if he even existed. I would rather not be compared to any of them publicly as all of them, except Buddha, were murdered for their compassion toward humanity.
Every great religion and philosopher embraces the Golden Rule -- treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. The exception is Islam which seeks to treat women, Non-Muslims, Gays, as inferior or even subhuman. That has no place in the 21st Century. My father always believed we should work to leave this world a little better than we found it. Ah if only everyone really believed in that it would be a better world.

One of the fascinating things I found, in this research, is that it was recent changes in the brain that allowed religion, speech and writing. And whatever precipitated this change cannot be explained by Darwinian Evolution as it happened way to fast for that.
I don't subscribe to any of the Abrahamic religious traditions. But if you read my entire series on De-Islamification you would understand that it is well underway. Prohibitions on wearing the Burka, the Hijab; prohibitions on Halal foods in the public sphere (also nationwide in some cases). In the past year 10 EU nations are finally deporting radical Islamists. To be clear I do think Muslims have a right to practice so long as they don't push Political Islam. Those that do should be summarily deported. Anyway congrats on 40 years of marriage . . . something becoming rarer by the day.
I not really trying to fight anyone. But at the end of the day, in the US, we have both freedom of religion as well as freedom from religion. In Dearborn they have broken that rule: Halal foods, Prayer rooms in the public schools. That violate Separation between Church and State. I doubt our Dearborn Muslims would like it if forced to eat only Kosher foods. Non-Muslims are forced to eat Halal. That violate the first amendment. Simple as that and nothing against Muslims quite frankly.
