I think the price is quite fair considering that your average hardcover book now sells for around $30. If an average book is 300 pages my writings are literally thousands of pages at this point.
Bruce Cain’s Complete Writings 1989-2025
“Bruce Cain’s Complete Writings 1989-2025” are now available for purchase through my Substack blog. As an activist/journalist I have been writing consistently for 36 years and counting: through seven presidential administrations. Thankfully I have always archived my writings which are now many thousands of pages in length. Since I have neither the time or money to share them in print form I’ve decided to make them available on a USB Thumb Drive which can be viewed on any computer that has an available USB port. So basically if you have a Mac or PC you can access all of the thousands of files. It would probably take many months to read through all the essays.
One of the great advantages of this digital format is that you can search through all of my writings for keywords using tools that are already available on both Mac or PC computers. So any file that contains the keyword — either in the title or within the text — will be displayed in the resulting query. From there you can just double click on each file and the essays will open up for viewing. Simple as that. I am already finding this useful in my own writings.
For example what have I written about George Soros over the decades? So I just search for the keyword “Soros” and every essay containing Soros pops up. As a reader of my essays you might wonder, what have I written about CBDC’s, Digital ID, Censorship etc. Just query for each keyword and all essays, containing that keyword, will pop up.
You can also view the files in chronological order, through your browser, as each file is prepended with the date the essay was originally published. So for example here is one of my essays:
“210821 Biden, Afghanistan and the Globalist War against 99 percent of humanity.mhtml”
It is prepended with the date in YYMMDD format. So this essay was originally published on August 8, 2021. Thank goodness I have always archived my essays in this format.
Finally you can look at my writings as the perspective of an Anti-Globalist with a rather unique philosophy about the world. I started out writing about Cannabis Legalization and Drug Policy, in August 1989, through my self published Magazine, “New Age Patriot.” It was distributed internationally, from 1989 through 1997, and became a platform to organize international annual protests to end Cannabis Prohibition. I had a unique vision of what “New Age” meant at the time. And if you just search for the keyword “New Age” you will find dozens of essays where I discuss this in great detail. Basically “New Age” was my aspirational vision of for a better future. It should never be confused with other interpretations of “New Age.”
As an activist/journalist these writings went against the Globalist United Nations, which has been long opposed to the Legalization of Cannabis. When I began writing about this issue, in August 1989, I recall having all sorts of “experts” telling me that Cannabis Legalization was a “fools errand” because the UN would never allow it. But here we are today and Cannabis Dispensaries are as common as Starbucks. As John Lennon once said, “there’s nothing you can do that can’t be done.” As time passed my writings transitioned to opposing the entire Globalist Agenda: Agenda21, Agenda 2030, the World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset.” Hopefully we can derail the rest of the UN’s globalist agenda in the years to come. Certainly the most dangerous Globalist agendas facing humanity today are Digital ID’s, Mass Censorship and the push toward a Cashless society. And if we fail we will become nothing more than slaves on a global plantation. And I suppose that is why I continue to write. I don’t want that dystopian future for my children and grandchildren.
Please allow me to introduce myself
My name is Bruce Cain and I am an old Perennial Hippie -- which is to say a knowledgeable Hippie. I also identify as a Perennial Hippie because I was born in 1954 and grew up during the Hippie Era (1964-1975) which was heavily influenced by the Beatles, Marijuana, psychedelic drug use and the Viet Nam War. And I embraced all of it.
My first degree was in Classical Guitar Performing Arts. My second degree was in Computer Science. I played in a number of Rock ‘N Roll bands between 1979 and 1985. Sadly I rarely pick up my guitar these days.
While my advocation was that of an activist/journalist my career was that of a Systems Analyst. I worked from 1980 to 1985 in Medical Research, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, involved in Photodynamic Therapy. Then between 1985 and 1991 I became a Systems Analyst for the Main Surgical OR and Satellite ORs. In future years I worked for Peer Review Organizations evaluating health care protocols for Michigan Hospitals. I’ve also worked as a Software Quality Analyst. Thankfully I am now happily retired.
I have been an activist all the way back to organizing protests, in High School, against the Viet Nam War. I was on a government “red list” since my senior year in High School. As the decades passed I became a activist/journalist in support of Cannabis Legalization. I spoke at many venues during my tenure as a Cannabis Activist: including the Hash Bash, Greenwave (IN), and Rainbow Farm in Jones Michigan. I was also a guest on many local TV shows to argue for the right to grow our own Cannabis. But after over 20 years of activism, protests and successful state initiatives the Cannabis Movement achieved out primary objective: adults could finally grow their own Cannabis without any tax, regulation or government control. So with that out of the way my focus shifted toward resisting the Globalist Agenda of the United Nations and Agenda 21. And that is where my focus remains today. Many of my speeches and television appearances can still be viewed on YouTube etc. You will find links to those videos in the following essay.

My Philosophical Underpinnings
My essays certainly reflect certain philosophical underpinnings as someone recently pointed out.
For better or worse my writings reflect a unique philosophical mindset. My later essays attempt to dig deeper into issues than what you would typically read in a newspaper or magazine. It is not unusual that my essays sometimes are 40-60 pages in length. They are not everyone’s “cup of tea.” But what I attempt to do is provide a greater historical framing of any given subject and to present what I think are the best sources relating to a given subject. I also try to encourage my readers to become activists. After all, reading alone never changes anything. Neither does prayer. Change requires action: something I have lived my entire life as an activist.
Since I was 8 years old I became very interested in understanding this world I was born into. My father would buy me a book every few weeks so long as he was convinced I actually read them. And over the decades I have studied a myriad of subjects: Philosophy, Abrahamic Religions, Mystical Traditions, the Founding Fathers, Economics, Entheogens, on and on. I also read the Sunday New York Times since I was ten years old. And even today I probably read a few dozen articles and essays each day. I read about anything that peaks my curiosity. And I suppose it is the distillation of all this information that effects the unique philosophy underpinning my writings. And I am sure all writers share similar bias in there writings as well.
The two common threads that permeate all my videos and writings are
1) Non-violence and
2) Standing up for our inalienable rights and our ability to make individual choices.
So basically I believe in a non-violent approach to advocate for every individual’s right to choose: whether that be Cannabis, Psilocybin, Vaccines etc.
In 1990 I organized the first annual global protests to end Cannabis Prohibition and allow adults the right to grow without any taxation, regulation or government control. In my home of Michigan -- and a number of other states -- that goal has been achieved. Today I am trying to help with the growing global protests against the Globalist Agenda: Smart Meters, 5G, Lockdowns, forced vaccination, vaccine passports, digital IDs, digital currency, as cashless society and the censorship of Anti-globalist groups and individuals. I am essentially a free speech absolutist.
Bruce Cain Complete Writings
As of 2025 I have now been writing for over 36 years so these essays span many thousands of pages. And because of that the only way to make my complete writings available will be through a USB Thumb drive which contains over 4 Gigabytes of data. I have not yet determined how much I will be selling my complete writing for but I hope to make them available by November 2025. My future essays will include ordering instructions when the thumb drive becomes available.
I began my formal writings in August of 1989 through my self published magazine:
New Age Patriot (1989 - 1997): Quarterly Newsmagazine for Drug, Environmental & Social Reform Activists.
In the first issue, of New Age Patriot, I criticized the HW Bush Administration for refusing to support needle exchange programs in order to stop the spread of AIDs. Today such programs are unnecessary because we can now control the virus through relatively safe medications that were not available in 1989.
In any case my writings span 36 years and 7 Presidential administrations.
During this period (1989 - 2010) most of my writings and videos focused on Cannabis Legalization and the Inalienable right to grow Cannabis. Between 2000 and 2010 I continued writing through my website “New Age Citizen.” If all of my writings were put in book format they would probably span many thousand pages. I have written quite a bit over the decades.
Then between 2010 and 2020 I used Facebook Notes to write another 269 essays. During this period my focus changed from Cannabis Legalization to Stopping the Globalist Agenda. Zuckerberg took “Facebook Notes” off the FB platform in October 2020, just before the Globalist Coup rigged the election for Joe Biden. Many of the Facebook Notes essays still exist though unless you have the url there is no way to find it. So for practical purposes my Facebook Notes essays no longer exist except in my archives.
After a 9 month hiatus(October 2020 - June 2021) I began writing essays again through my Substack Newsletter “Stopping the Globalist Agenda.” I just began that project in July of 2021 using the SubStack platform, which I do recommend to other internet journalists. Both paid and free subscriptions are now available.
Navigating my writings on the USB Thumbdrive
My complete writing are located here on the USB 2.0 Thumb drive. Stick the thumb drive in a USB port and navigate to it through Windows File Explorer. You should find the following folder:
“Bruce Cain Complete Writings”
Now double click on that folder and you will find the following subfolders
I will now explain how to access each folder in chronological order.
1) BookNewAgePatriot
This contains all of the articles from New Age Patriot (1989 - 1997): Quarterly Newsmagazine for Drug, Environmental & Social Reform Activists. So here you will find two files: one in *pdf format and one in Word *.doc format. If you don’t have Word then you will want to open the *.pdf file. This contains all of the writings from New Age Patriot: spanning from August 1989 to January 1997. Each issue is published with an image of the original cover. At some point I may publish a separate document that contains actual images of each page which would be interesting as it would show exactly how it was originally published, including all the ads and additional artwork. This is about 200 pages in length formatted to 10 point text.
2) Nac
The contains the “New Age Citizen” website which I maintained from around 2000 to 2016. While you can click on individual files the best way to view them is by opening up the home page. To do this navigate into the Millennium directory and double click on the file “index.htm.” This will open the website to the homepage.
/Nac/NAC%20Websites/Millennium/index.htm
If you scroll down you will find links to a number of articles. But most of the important articles will be found by clicking on “Merp Headquaters” link in the upper right part of the page. Then scroll down and you will find links to about 70 essays that can be accessed by simply clicking on them.
You can also browse through the Homepage archives that go from 2002 to 2012. To access the Homepage Archive pages just click on any one of the 70 essays. Then scroll down and you will find all of the Archive pages in chronological order on the right side of the page. To open any one of them just click on the link. There you find many additional essays as well information on other protests I was supporting at that time.
So that ends my quick navigation through the “New Age Citizen” website.
The New Age Citizen Disk Web Project
This was a standalone disk web that was once available for purchase. Navigate to the following directory, below, and then double click on “index.htm
\Nac\NAC Disk Web Project\NapDiskWeb2002
This is the page that should come up:
If you click on “The Past” you will find another version of the “New Age Patriot” website where you can navigate through each issue, read the articles and see an image of the cover for each issue.
If you click on the picture of Ted Kasinsky, the Unabomber, you will find a complete copy of his essay “Industrial Society and its Future” (35,000 words). There is also a transcript of the interview I did with Jam Rag when I ran for US Congress in 1996. Anyway have fun playing around with that. Some of the links no longer work as they once did.
The AolNews Folder
To access the AolNews Folder open up the following folder by double clicking on it through File Explorer.
Bruce Cain Complete Writings\Nac\AolNews
Here you will find over 900 files that contain essays, news clippings, jokes and all sort of other stuff. Most of these files are 6 to 10 pages in length. Each file is formatted with a date stamp: {YYMMDD]. So the file Aol001225 would have been archived on December 25th, 2000. The files can be sorted by name, putting them in chronological order. This makes it easy to read what issues were on my mind during a given year or presidential administration. These files, alone, are thousands of pages in length.
3) Facebook Notes
When you open this folder you will find about 300 essays from 2010 to 2020 in *.pdf format. Sort the folder by names to put the files in chronological order. So a file starting with “100930” would mean the essay was posted on September 30th, 2010.
It was a good thing I archived these essays because Zuckerberg (Facebook) abruptly discontinued Facebook Notes in 2020. And once he did this there was no way to access the files. The Facebook folder, containing all of a writer’s essays, disappeared over night.
4) Substack Essays
This is similar to the Facebook essays except that they are in MHTML form instead of *.pdf form. These writings span from June 2021 to October 2025 and contain about 75 essays: some well over 40 pages in length. I did enjoy writing these long essays but will probably write shorter essays moving forward. That is because I want to monetize my writings and will need to start writing about one essay a week Vs one essay every 3 to 4 weeks. The only shortcoming, of saving these to MHTML format, is some of the original formatting has been lost. Most of that is accessible however. For example the graphic, posted for each essay, does not appear as it did in the original. But all of the text is preserved and all links, including video links, still work. You can also view the graphic, for each essay, by clicking on the embedded HTML at the top of the essay. If you click on it the graphic will appear in a separate tab.
Searching folders for keywords in file titles and within each file
One of the things I’ve recently discovered is the ability to search all of my writings for keywords. In order for this to work you will first need to modify your “Windows File Explorer” settings. I will explain how to do this below. Once this is completed you can search for any keyword: either in the Title or within the document. The search results will show all documents where the keyword is found.
Windows File Explorer
The native search function in Windows can search inside files, but you may need to enable it first.
* Enable content search: In File Explorer, go to the View menu > Options > Change folder and search options. In the “Search” tab, select the box next to “Always search file names and contents”.
* Perform the search: Navigate to the folder with your PDFs and type your keyword into the search bar. This process can be slow for large folders.
Click on the “. . .” to the right of “View” and then click on “Options”
This will bring up the “Folder Options” modal window. Click on the “Search” tab and make the following selections.
Now when you search through the folders, for a keyword, both the file titles and the contents will be searched for the keyword. For short keywords (e.g., AI) you will want to place a space before the keyword so it doesn’t grab documents that include unintended keywords such as “Claim,” “drain,” etc. It is also best to search from the top folder so the results contain files from all four subfolders. I personally use these searches to find earlier writings on a given subject.
I don’t have a MAC but here is a similar method for searching for keywords in the essay titles or within the essays themselves.
macOS Finder with Spotlight
On a Mac, you can use Finder and the Spotlight index to search for text within files in a specific folder.
* Search a folder: Open Finder and go to the folder containing your PDFs.
* Enter the search term: Type your keyword in the search bar.
* Refine the search: Under the search bar, click on the folder’s name (or “This Mac”) to restrict the search. You can also click the + button to add criteria, such as selecting “Kind” and “PDF”.
Example of searching for keywords in titles or within documents
Assuming you have changed your settings, as described above, you are ready to make you first search. So first open File Explorer to the subfolder containing these four folders.
Next put your keyword in the search box at the upper right. In this example I will search for “Herer” who I have written much about over the decades. Jack Herer was a major figure in the Cannabis Legalization movement from 1985 to 2010. He was also a good friend of mine since I met him in 1989 until has passing in 2010.
The keyword will be highlighted (yellow) if it appears in the title. If it is in the body of the document double click on the document to open it. After it is open do a [CTRL][F] in order to search for the term within the document. The only shortcoming I’ve found is for a few of the *.htm files within the “New Age Citizen” disc web. When you double click on a *.htm file it will just show raw *.htm code. So to find files in the “New Age Patriot” disk web your only option is to open up the web by clicking on the index.htm files.

36 years! What a digital archive. Imagine the bookshelf!
