You seem to have either fallen for, or are intentionally choosing to frame this entire piece from a Zionist propaganda position. This is not a 'war', nor did Hamas 'invade' Israel. Rather the attack of Oct 7th was part of the ongoing conflict between a suppressed people trapped in an open prison shorn of human rights, and their colonising oppressors who are now attempting to finish the ethnic cleansing they began in 1948. The State of Israel is an apartheid state that is carrying out genocide, that is the opinion of the UN and amnesty international. Do those facts excuse the attacks by Hammas? No, of course not, but they go some way to explaining them, and to attempt to ignore the truth of that history is to collude in the denial of the far larger horrors committed by Israel, both before, and after the Hammas attack. Neither is this a religious conflict, again that is a piece of Zionist propaganda; this is a battle between the state of Israel, and the people of Gaza. To conflate the Jewish faith with Zionism, or the people of Palastine with Hammas is purposefully misleading, and it gives those that wish to, the opportunity to denounce as anti-semitic anyone who mentions the reality of Israel's demonstrable war crimes.

You will find 4 letters to me regarding this essay. As I said in the essay: "A plague on both their houses." The antisemitism we have seen in the wake of the Oct. 7th slaughter go back literally thousands of years. How many wars have been fought over whose god is better. And without any doubt Islam has been both anti-Semitic and basically anti-NonMuslim since its creation some 1400 years ago. There is but one intelligence permeating the Cosmos. Perhaps we just need to get beyond the Abrahamic religions?
